Hi, I’m Kris Van Der Snel and this is my broker associate bio video. I’m a broker associate for The Corcoran Connection. I cover the Harmony, FL area but also represents Saint Cloud and Kissimmee, FL.
I worked for a residential real estate developer and commercial developer for 13 years. I have had my real estate license for eight years. I just transitioned to full-time to real estate in October of 2019 and said it was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
I have always been interested in real estate and houses. And I always had a passion for helping people. This was one way that I could join both of those together. I have worked recently with some first-time home buyers, and their excitement is contagious. And it's fun to teach them the process because it's not just a search on the internet and then get approved for a mortgage.
I have also lined up vendors to do repairs, to do painting, carpet repair. And I just update the owners every couple of days. "This is what's on the schedule and this is what's done, here's payment information, etc. Also, how can I help you facilitate that payment? Let's make sure everybody stays on track."
The nature of real estate is you work when your clients need you to work, not just when you want to work. I have been here since 2004, so actually almost 16 years this August. It's really exciting to see how we're growing from our original Harmony real estate agency to covering Saint Cloud, Kissimmee, Lake Nona, and Orlando.
