Winter is FINALLY over and spring has arrived at our off-grid cabin in Alaska — and we are not wasting a single second of it. This week we finish the Arctic entry ramp (complete with a frost heave pivot), process a big delivery of beetle kill firewood, learn about cottonwood buds and make our own balm of Gilead, and try to sneak a peek at a mama moose and her brand new calf.
