This is where our off-grid cabin journey officially begins! After buying 2.5 acres of raw land in Alaska, we have 7 days to build a 300-foot driveway, create a parking area, clear our future cabin site, and camp on the property while we do it. We have little to no experience, and every challenge is a learning experience for us!
Throughout this cabin build series, we’ll be documenting every step from untouched forest to a finished off-grid cabin. We're doing this out of pocket, paycheck by paycheck to avoid going into debt. We’ll also be sharing the costs with you along the way, so you can see what it actually costs to build an off-grid cabin in Alaska.
This is just the first video of a multi-year series, so if you’d like to follow the entire build from start to finish, be sure to subscribe so you don’t miss future episodes!
